Well the last while has been very fun and interesting, defiantly unexpected that is for sure. After the troubles with Bioshock Kim and I both suddenly had an idea, at the same time no less. We have been saving up money for an expensive computer because we needed a second one for two reasons. A) The laptop is the only system that can play good games at this moment B) we love playing games together and this computer I'm on right now can't do much of anything without crashing. Seeing as most of the games we have been looking at lately have been on Xbox 360. We already saved up a fair amount for the new computer and with Kim not using the laptop as much I can just use that one for art seeing as it already does what I need.

So on Friday we looked around online in search of the system prices and to see if there were any sales. We found out on Wednesday that BlockBuster was having a huge sale on all previously played games so decided to go there for our system. We ended up getting an Xbox Elite and were surprised to find out that it came with over 10 gig in demos. We also picked up several games but a few didn't work for the 360 so we have to return them and got several other games. By Sunday we had Halo 2 - 3, we already have 1 on PC, Gears of War, Assassins Creed, and Condemned.

Halo is not that bad, but I can't find much special about it. It is fun all the same and the ability to have Kim drive while I shot is a lot f fun indeed. I'm not much of a first person shooter fan, but being able to play with my love is a lot of fun.

Gears of War is great and even more fun then Halo. I love sliding along the ground and hiding behind things. Those bloody bat like things that eat you in the darkness are scary as hell and it is so much fun trying to stay out of the darkness while fighting and watching enemies getting eaten by those bats when they step too far in the darkness. *evil Grins* I can't wait until Gears of War 2 comes out because the demo video that we found shows you being able to use people as shields and even more. It looks like great fun.

Assassins Creed is interesting. I have yet to try it, but Kim seems to be having fun jumping off buildings into piles of hay to hide and jumping from building to building. It is supposed to be a free formed game that allows you to play as you wish, but we have yet to really play it to know much about the game.

Condemned looked interesting, as far as I've gotten, it is another horror game and I love horror games. In fact we saw a bunch of demos for Alone in the Dark and really want that game now. You can burn things and use pretty much anything as a weapon. It is insane and so pretty looking. There are a lot of Horror games coming out for 360 that I'd like to get that is for sure.

There are so many good looking games coming out for 360 that we want now. We got to try Army of Two and that was great, as far as the demo allowed us to go. So we have sort of lost a few days just testing out games and trying out demos. My only complaint about the system is the fact that you can't download and play games at the same time. I don't know what that is all about, but it is a small issue.

That is what has been going on this weekend. I'm going to probably trade in the PC version of Bioshock for a 360 version because the demo we played just looked so beautiful that we just have to have it to play.
