Page 01: [link] Page 47: [link] Page 49: [link] Finally I'm finished page 1... ummm... I mean page 48. To think this was the original idea for page one and it has taken me 48 pages to get to this point in the story. *sighs* I'm glad people are enjoying all the back story because it took a hell of a lot longer then I expected, but I'm finally here, time to let the fun begin. This page was a pain in the ass. First I sketched out a few characters walking to school, but that was not enough. I found myself adding more backgrounds, shadows and other odds and ends that were not planned in the beginning just to make it look better. That is the thing about me. I tend to keep working on something until it looks right to me and don't post it if something is nagging at me to fix it. I hope you all enjoy this page. I'll be making more next week, which is June... nearly fifty pages in 5 months. Hmmmm... not bad at all. I think putting the backstory first was a good idea, saves explaining some of the difficult stuff later on, right?
The large clock is looking especially ominous to me.

Yeah, I just did not expect all that back story to take so long. I kept thinking of more things that show be explained a head of time and before I knew it I was 4 chapters behind the original scripting and finding myself having to rearrange things to make them fit properly and take out things that already got explained. The next part might take a bit because I still need to rework a few things. *sighs*
Of course it does, it tolls the dreaded hour of school beginning so it should be ominous. LOL

I rather like the pace the story is flowing at. It's consistent, I think it works. We're not gonna mind if it's a few chapters more than originally estimated ; ]
